Storyline:
In the story, after the mysterious petrification event turns humanity into stone statues for thousands of years, the genius scientist Senku Ishigami manages to break free from his stone prison and starts rebuilding civilization using science and technology. Along the way, he discovers others who have also broken free from petrification, and they join him in his quest.
